Flower and Produce Show: Held on the first or second Saturday in August. Schedules are delivered to all households in the village.

Acts of Remembrance: A brief act of remembrance is held at the village war memorial at 10.50am on 11 November each year and a remembrance service is held in Bloxham on Remembrance Sunday.

Christmas Tree Light-up: A Village Christmas tree is lit on the first or second Saturday in Advent with carol singing and refreshments.

Christingle Service and Village Christmas Party: These take place on the same day a few days before Christmas.

SNOS: South Newington Occassional Singers, the village choir have performances throughout the year. 

Open Gardens: Various village gardens are open throughout the year. 

Dates and further information about these events is sent round the village by email, and the information is put on the village website and also posted on the Village Notice Board outside the Church.
