St Peter’s church is one of only 14 in England dedicated to St Peter ad Vincula.  It was originally a small late Norman church. At the end of the 13th century it was extended and a bell tower was added. Further additions were made in the second half of the 15th century.

The latest information on work being carried out on the fabric of the church can be seen under Church /The Building.
