The Village Hall may be hired for private functions and the details and charges are shown below.

Meeting of Village Organisations £10.00 This covers up to two hours. Additional time will be charged at £5 per hour.
Meetings of outside Organisations £20.00 This covers up to two hours. Additional time will be charged at £10 per hour. This charge may vary dependent on the meeting format required.
Hire of Equipment
Tables – £4.00 each
Brown Plastic Chairs – £0.25 each
Important Notes:
For all parties and/or hire of equipment, the hirer must be a householder in South Newington unless authorised by the Village Hall Committee.
No function may continue later than 11pm.
Because of the proximity of residential properties, no disco sound system should be used.
The deposit is not refundable in the event of damage to the hall or equipment.
Any equipment hired should be returned within 24 hours, unless prior arrangement has been agreed with the Secretary at the time of making the booking.
