Damsons – Pick your own for free at Chapel House

Pick your own Damsons for free at Chapel House, High St.

The tree is opposite the door in use round the back past the pot plants.

The fruit is very easy to access without a ladder.

If my “Counselling” notice is on the door please be as quiet as possible as I am working at the other end of my garden beyond the gate at the moment.

Thanks
Stella

SOUTH NEWINGTON FLOWER SHOW 2020 – CANCELLED

THE FLOWER AND PRODUCE SHOW 2020

I am sure that most villagers will not be surprised to hear that this year’s Flower Show is cancelled.  The Committee had only just started making the arrangements;  booking the marquee,  contacting the Judges, thinking of new ideas for stalls, etc when this awful Coronavirus struck!  We will however look forward to next year’s event and the opportunity to put on another super Show.

The Committee.
